"I cannot express my gratitude for Afton and her professionalism and overall awesomeness. I'm not gonna lie, I procrastinated a bit for family photos that I wanted to give as Christmas gifts, but Afton worked with my schedule to get in our shoot done just in time. She gave ideas on locations, and was willing to work with me since I didn't really know what I needed or wanted besides some family photos. Fast forward to the actual day of the shoot - and please keep in mind I have 3 kids 10 and under - one of which is a very wild toddler - so I was beyond stressed by the time we got to the location. It was after nap time, it was cold as ever, and the location that we picked had the lights turned off earlier than expected. Needless to say within the first 5 minutes of starting the photo shoot, I was ready to give up. Kids were not cooperating, I was concerned the photos weren't coming out, and I figured I just wasted poor Afton's time. However, she was beyond patient with us, didn't lose her cool, and kept a very warm and calming smile on her face as I was having a meltdown. By the end of the shoot, I was about in tears because I was worried it was all going to be waste - but then Afton sent me the photos. I was shocked and amazed and so excited about the results. Throughout the chaos, Afton was able to get some perfect images even though everything was working against us. She even got some super cute candid photos that I didn't even realize she was taking. I am so grateful for her patience, I cannot recommend her enough!!! I really look forward to working with her in the future to get some more amazing family photos done."

"Afton photographed the most beautiful, life changing, empowering experience of my life - the home birth of my second son. She came to my house when I called her to let her know I had gone into labor. It was a 17 hour labor, so there was a lot of down time for my birth team. She stayed with me and worked from my home while capturing the integral moments during my labor. She was very careful to stick in the background and out of the way when things got intense, and caught the most incredible memories of my birth.
We also did a maternity photo shoot for me which also included photos of me nursing my 3 year old who was at the tail end of our nursing relationship. I'm so glad to have these photos. A few days after my baby was born, Afton came back to do a newborn shoot which turned out to be really adorable. She has an incredible eye and is a fantastic artist both with her photography and other visual art. Not only is she talented, but she really cares and is extremely professional.
